A passion for teaching

One of Steve's strong interests is making the thought of Jung more widely available.  The primary way he does this is through teaching.  He particularly enjoys using Jung's thought to analyze cultural trends and phenomena.

In recent years, he has taught public workshops on topics that include

  • Jung & the Spiritual Journey (ongoing monthly seminar)
  • Dreams
  • The Traumatized System
  • Fairy Tales
  • Sexuality and Spirituality
  • The Life and Work of C.G. Jung
  • The Spirituality of Betrayal
  • Congregational Renewal

His article on dreams and the spiritual life -- In Your Dreams -- appeared in the December 2008 issue of Lutheran Woman Today magazine.

In addition to teaching in the public education program at the Jung Institute and the Jung Center, Steve serves as co-director of the Institute's Clinical Training Program and also teaches in its Analyst Training Program.

He is happy to present Jung-related topics to other groups, including congregations.  He can be contacted at individuate@att.net or 630.476.6425.
